ABOUT
Tian (Tang Tian) is a multifaceted NYC-based filmmaker working across directing, producing, photography, editing, and color grading. She collaborates with artists, individuals, and brands in fashion, music, arts, and culture to tell their stories through her lens.
At a time when the media landscape and technology are rapidly changing, Tian embraces her identity as a multi-hyphenated filmmaker. Her diverse toolbox and curiosity for all aspects of filmmaking give her the freedom to express ideas and materialize visions with small teams and limited resources.
She co-runs Bottling Company, a post-production studio she founded with her partner, Adam, where they take a collaborative approach to post-production and help other filmmakers shape their projects from the first cut to the final picture. As filmmakers first and foremost, they understand how much faith, care, and sensitivity it takes to bring a story to life.
Tian is also an active member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective, where she helps create social media content, organize community events, and stay connected with a vibrant network of filmmakers and friends.
